One week passed after that night. Manya isolated herself after that night and didn't talk much. She only answers when it is needed. She stopped talking to Vedant. It's not like she is angry with him. She started thinking like no one deserves a bad omen like her who ate her own mother's life. All the time just one line rang in her mind that she is the daughter of a rapist. She started blaming herself for her mother's death. She breaks all the connections with her fake parents except his brother. 

Because of stress babies stop their movements. Vedant took her to the hospital and the doctor advised her to not take stress. It's not good for her health. Vedant was trying his best to lighten her mood but nothing worked.

Right now they both were on their bed. 

" Wifey can we sleep today cuddling each other" he asked her because she loves cuddle with him but today she changed her position and now her back was facing him. His heart was feeling pain because it's been a week since she talked to him. When he asked something she just hummed but not utter a single word. She is taking too much stress and it is making him worry for her and their babies. 

He moved closer to her but she made distance between them. 

His heart was aching in the pain of losing her. He slept beside her, maintaining a distance between them.

And on the other side Manya was silently crying. She didn't want to hurt him but her inner turmoil is too much for her to handle it. Slowly they both drown in sleep.

" You are a daughter of rapist" 

" You are a bad omen for your mother."

" You killed your own mother" 

" She loved you and in return you give her death " 

" Just like you killed your mother you will kill your kids, Vedant. Your bad omen will kill all of them who loves you " 

Her eyes opened with a jerk and her forehead was dripping in sweat.  It was a nightmare.She sat down on bed and fetched water for herself. She looked at  vedant. Who was sleeping. She caressed his head and placed a deep kiss on his forehead. 

" I am a bad omen for you, for our kids and for our family. " She said internally and tears rolled down from her cheeks.

"  I don't deserve you vedant. I don't deserve your love. "  She said and get off from the bed. And went towards the closet room. She packed her clothes and took some cash. 

She came out with a beg and went towards Vedant and caressed his hair lovingly and pecked his lips. 

" I love you" she mumbled and left from there.

She booked a cab for her and left for the railway station. 

Manya pov

I left him forever. Now I can never see him again. Now my bad omen wouldn't harm  him. I am going to Nashik ,Maharashtra.  My one close friend Aditi lives there . I decided to stay with her till my delivery. 

" I am sorry my babies " I said, caressing my baby bump. 

Now it's morning and I am still on the train. It will take almost a day to reach Nashik.

Whole day passed by train and finally reached Nashik. I ring the bell of Aditi's apartment. And within one minute she opened the door for me. 

She immediately hugged me and tears rolled down from my eyes and  I broke in uncontrollable sobs.

" Ssshhhh...Manya please shant ho ja...sab thik ho jayega" she coed to me caressing my head her voice was also heavy.

She took me inside and closed the door. I lay down on  bed because traveling by train for 20 hours made me tired. I drown in sleep thinking about him.

Vedant pov 

" MANYA...MANYA " I shouted and my voice echoed throughout the whole house. I was looking for her since morning but she was nowhere. My heart beats were fast and I  feel that I am not able breath. My breaths turned heavy. My whole body was shaking in fear and tears started gathering in my eyes. 

" Sir Manya madam was nowhere we searched the whole city " one of my men said to me. And I knelt down with a thud sound. Tears were flowing continuously from my eyes. 

Fear gripped my heart. Fear of losing her, fear of losing my babies. 

" What if something bad happened to her? " A thought came in my mind and my heart skipped a beat. 

" No no vedant.... nothing bad will happen to her. " I consoled myself.

" Beta nothing will happen to her.. we will find her .. don't worry " my mother said hugging me.

" Haa Bhai hum bhabhi ko dhund lenge " viraj said.

" Inspector jald se jald meri bahu ko dhundo " my father said to inspector on call.

( Inspector find my daughter in law as soon as possible)

I hugged my mom  " mom if she never came back? " I asked her. 

" No vedant she loves you..she will came back for you " 

" If she loves me then why did she left me ? " I asked her but she had no answer.

" Maa I can't live without her " I said to her between my sobs. She hugged me tightly. 

Days were passing and now it's been one month since she left me. I found her everywhere but I couldn't find her. I stopped going to University because it made it impossible for me to teach there. 

I believe that by now she would have given birth to our children. And look at my fate I can't even see them. I can't hold them. I was not with her when she needed me the most.

" I hate myself " I said, staring at the ceiling and tears were flowing down from my eyes. 

Author pov

There was not a single day when Vedant did not cry.  He hardly ever ate anything and spent the whole day searching for Manya.  He did not sleep in his room at night because without Manya there he would feel suffocated.

Like every day, Vedant woke up early.  He slept in his office room itself. He stood up and went to the washroom for his morning rituals. After that he came downstairs. 

" Sahab darwaje par koi do bache chod gya hai.....dono bacche ka der se roye Jaa rahe hai " guard said running inside the house. 

(Sir, someone has left two new born babies at the door...both infants have been crying for a long time.)

Listening to him , he rushed outside and saw two infants inside a basket. Both infants were crying. They were both covered with the blanket and only their faces were visible. 

Vedant knelt down looking at those infants. Somehow deep down he knows who they are. He saw a letter inside the basket and he opened that letter with shaking hands.

  Hii my love. I know you were missing me. I am sorry for leaving you like that but I don't have power to face this world now. I don't want you to lose because of my bad omen. 

I know you love me so much but I don't deserve your love. Look, they are our kids. 

He looked at his babies with trembling lips and teary eyes. Then he started reading the letter again.

Please take care of them, love them , and make them like you. 

Never tell them that their mother was a coward. Please, it's a request. 

It's a girl and boy. 

I know when you were reading this letter I already left this world.
